Rigby was a Morgan gelding purchased out of the loose pen in Waukon, Iowa in October 2022. Everyone that met Rigby immediately fell in love with him. He was a sweet, goofy, very loveable guys. According to the note left on the loose pen gate he had had quite the past and yet when he was no longer useful he was discarded at an auction. Rigby was early to mid twenties. He was with us for approximately 4 months. In that time he did well gaining weight. I did end up body clipping him because of a lot of skin issues. He was coming along well until mid January when he started having blood coming from his nose. After many tests and consulting with our vet as well the vets at ISU we decided there were no positive outcomes and I chose to have Rigby humanely euthanized.
